According to foreign media such as U.S. economic media outlet CNBC and Market Watch, the Federal Reserve predicted that there will be a total of three base rate cuts of 0.25% within the year through a dot plot after the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting on this day.

In this dot plot, 10 out of 19 Federal Reserve members predicted three rate cuts within the year.

Also on this day, the Federal Reserve froze the benchmark interest rate at 5.25-5.50% for the fifth time in a row. The market had been expecting the Federal Reserve to freeze its benchmark interest rate at this month’s FOMC meeting.
