The insane slam, however, came at a cost as Edwards suffered a minor finger injury but still managed to finish the game. He’ll be hoping that his finger cooperates for their upcoming clash. The Timberwolves injury report is out, and it’s not looking great for the no. 3 seed in the West. Rudy Gobert (rib sprain), Naz Reid (head injury), and Anthony Edwards (finger dislocation) are questionable while Karl-Anthony Towns has been listed out for Friday’s game against Cleveland.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (47-22) fell short in a rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers (43-26) on March 8th, losing 113-104 in overtime at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Despite the absence of star Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland leaned on a strong performance from Darius Garland, who chipped in 34 points.
The Wolves, riding a five-win streak in seven games and a heart-stopping 113-111 victory over Indiana, were aiming for a season sweep against the Cavs. But Jarrett Allen, Cleveland’s center, had other plans. He bagged a career-high 33rd double-double (33 points, 18 rebounds) and led the team in scoring during a dominant 16-7 overtime performance. Allen even went off for 10 points in overtime alone.
