US President Joe Biden will make a statement Saturday afternoon on the attacks on Israel by the Palestinian militant group Hamas, the White House said.
“The President will deliver remarks on the terrorist attacks in Israel,” the White House said in a statement, adding that the statement will take place at 2:30 pm local time (1830 GMT).
Earlier Saturday, Biden condemned the attacks and said Washington is “ready to offer all appropriate means of support.”
Meanwhile, Biden spoke with King Abdullah II of Jordan following his call with Israeli PM Netanyahu.
White House also added that Biden continues to receive regular updates on situation in Israel from his national security team.
