Bihar CM Nitish Kumar asks Muslims to be alert of those forces who want to divide people

PATNA: Days after the release of the Bihar caste survey’s figures, chief minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday held a long meeting with Muslim leaders of JD(U) at his official residence here and assured the members of minority community that his government would continue to work for their betterment, welfare and social security.
He also asked the members of Muslim community not to be misguided by any political forces and maintain their loyalty with the JD(U).
Terming the AIMIM as a B-team of the BJP, the JD(U) de facto leader reportedly asked the Muslim brothers to be alert of all those political forces who wanted to divide society and disturb the community harmony. As per the caste survey, Muslims constitute more than 17 per cent of the state’s population.
The CM also told the Muslim leaders that he was thinking of launching a grand plan for the welfare of minority communities. Most of the Muslim leaders attending the meeting assured the CM that they were with the JD(U) and they would not go anywhere during the forthcoming elections.
