Cavaliers’ Evan Mobley Progressing In Injury Recovery

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been without a pair of their star players for over a month.

On December 15, the team made two significant injury announcements.

First, it was announced that Darius Garland would undergo surgery and be re-evaluated in four weeks due to a fractured jaw. Then, the team shared that Evan Mobley would undergo arthroscopic left knee surgery and miss between six and eight weeks.

Garland reportedly took an important step in his injury recovery just over a week ago.

But how is Mobley doing?

In a recent article,’s Chris Fedor writes about how the 22-year-old is progressing in his injury recovery.

“But it won’t be long before Mobley, who has been sidelined since Dec. 15, receives the green light to make his long-awaited return. Mobley continues to improve steadily. He has cleared every step without issue. The intensity of his workouts keeps increasing daily. He’s running up and down the floor with grace and force.

It all adds up to a possible comeback as soon as next week, when the Cavs return home for two games against the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons.”
