The T-wolves, just like the Cavs, are going through a rough patch. Minnesota’s superstar Anthony Edwards threw down a dunk so vicious in their win over Utah (114-104) on March 19, that it might be the season’s best. The insane slam, however, came at a cost as Edwards suffered a minor finger injury but still managed to finish the game. He’ll be hoping that his finger cooperates for their upcoming clash. So, will “Ant-Man” suit up tonight?

The Timberwolves injury report is out, and it’s not looking great for the no. 3 seed in the West. Rudy Gobert (rib sprain), Naz Reid (head injury), and Anthony Edwards (finger dislocation) are questionable while Karl-Anthony Towns has been listed out for Friday’s game against Cleveland.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (47-22) fell short in a rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers (43-26) on March 8th, losing 113-104 in overtime at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Despite the absence of star Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland leaned on a strong performance from Darius Garland, who chipped in 34 points.

The Wolves, riding a five-win streak in seven games and a heart-stopping 113-111 victory over Indiana, were aiming for a season sweep against the Cavs. But Jarrett Allen, Cleveland’s center, had other plans. He bagged a career-high 33rd double-double (33 points, 18 rebounds) and led the team in scoring during a dominant 16-7 overtime performance. Allen even went off for 10 points in overtime alone.
