Second Republican debate: seven candidates, no Trump


Republican presidential candidates in the U.S. held their second presidential debate on Wednesday evening, this time in southern California.The conservative hopefuls gathered at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley to answer questions on issues ranging from the economy and immigration to energy. 

But their main rival leading in all of the polls, former President Donald Trump, chose to skip the event.
