One Infinite’s bridal showcase presents Sakshi Bhati, Arvind Ampula, and Varun Chakkilam at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI


One Infinite group showcased its curated selection of up-and-coming designers on the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week x Fashion Design Council of India in Mumbai. The presentation featured brands Sakshi Bhati, Arvind Ampula, and Varun Chakkilam, each of which showcased statement occasion wear with celebrity showstoppers.

“This season, One Infinite proudly served as the co-sponsor, extending its commitment to spotlighting emerging talents from diverse corners of our country,” said One Infinite’s founders Pratap Simon and Krishna Chaturvedi in a press release. “One Infinite plays a pivotal role in discovering these emerging designers and providing them with a platform to shine at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. With deep appreciation, we unveiled the extraordinary creations of Sakshi Bhati, Arvind Ampula, and Varun Chakkilam, curated by One Infinite. Special gratitude to our muses, Shruti Hassan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sara Ali Khan, for elevating these visions with their elegance and flair.”
 
Hyderabad-based Varun Chakkilam’s collection ‘Lenora’ celebrated the beauty of light with glittering gowns and fusion style men’s and womenswear. Bollywood celebrity Sara Ali Khan closed the show in a silver, sparkling lehenga featuring an intricately appliquéd bralette.

Vika by Arvind Ampula’s ‘Whispers of Empires’ collection celebrated Indian and Persian cultures with opulent bridal wear featuring lace and botanical lehenga, choli, dupatta, kutas, kurtis, and shararas. Menswear in the collection included bundies, kurtas, sherwanis, and Jodhpuri jackets and showstopper Fatima Sana Shaikh closed the show in a purple lehenga. 
 
Sakshi Bhati launched ‘Ember Bloom’ on the runway with an array of day to evening looks featuring florals in pastel hues. Maxi dresses, shararas, and choli garments were designed for warm weather garden parties and Shruti Haasan walked as showstopper in a mint green lehenga. 
 
“Grateful to have had the opportunity to showcase my vision at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI, and to have the incredibly talented Shruti Hassan grace the runway as my showstopper,” said Sakshi Bhati in a press release. “A moment of collaboration, creativity, and sheer brilliance.”
 
Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI ran from March 13 to 17 at Jio World Convention Centre, situated at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The fashion week included runway shows, design contests, and panel discussions.
