Meghan Markle eyes endorsement for new brand from King Charles: Report

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is seeking endorsement from the royal family for her newly launched lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, according to a report. The 42-year-old unveiled her venture in March through an Instagram post, hinting at its upcoming launch.
Since the announcement, Markle has been sending out jam jars and dog biscuits to her celebrity friends and has even hinted at a potential rosé wine range in the future. In an effort to boost sales, the former “Suits” actress is reportedly seeking support from her estranged father-in-law, King Charles, despite not having seen him in years.
“Meghan is looking for support wherever she can get it,” a source told OK! magazine. “Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of her list, but she is shooting even higher and would love to get King Charles to give his stamp of approval.” The source added, “Despite all the drama, Meghan does not see why they should not be able to drum up some support and backing.”
As Markle’s business is anticipated to sell similar items as King Charles’ organic food brand Waitrose Duchy Organic, it has the potential to receive Charles’ endorsement.
American Riviera Orchard is set to offer a wide array of products, including home decore and kitchen items such as decanters, napkin rings, cutlery, table linens, placemats, napkins, and even cookbooks. The website will also feature a variety of healthy edible options. However, reports suggest that the first product available to the public will be Markle’s rosé wine.
