The West Bank has experienced an increase in violence following the outbreak of war in Gaza, which was sparked by Hamas’ assault on southern Israel on October 7.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, Israeli forces have killed more than 530 Palestinians since the beginning of the conflict. The majority of these deaths occurred during violent demonstrations and arrest operations, which frequently lead to armed confrontations.
In the 1967 Mideast war, Israel seized control of the West Bank, Gaza, and east Jerusalem, Reuters reported.
